Hi, this is another memo about visiting museums/galleries!
I went to Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser Exhibition at Victoria & Albert Museum ❤️ This exhibition is on until 31 December this year.
If you’re interested, this is the official website of V&A (๑>◡<๑)♡

Alice exhibition photos
In the first area, there was an exhibition about the life of Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland. There were diaries in the author’s own handwriting and photographs of the people involved. There was also a collection of goods from that time, created and sold based on the Alice in Wonderland books. The author Lewis Carroll himself took part in the process of creating some of these items.
In the next area, there were musical scores, paintings and performing arts items based on the books.

Then in the 1900’s, filming techniques developed and there were exhibits on everything from black and white films to Disney animation and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp. I remember seeing the film at the cinema when I was in junior high and high school and loved it so much that I bought a brochure. (Unfortunately, I haven’t seen the film sequel yet, so I’d like to see it at some point).

Also, there was a VR game corner. The game lasts around 4 minutes. It’s a cute game but I struggled to finish it as I didn’t know how to control my hands in the virtual world haha You may wait for around 20 mins in the queue but if you have time, it’s a nice small game so good to go into the virtual wonderland ❤️

Coffee time at V&A

After the exhibition, we had a coffee time at the cafe in the V&A museum. The place inside is very beautiful with big chandeliers and old-fashioned walls. There are many other exhibits in the museum and people from all sections gather there so it was pretty busy.
These are menus.

As you can see all of the prices are expensive: museum price!! I was tempted by salad as I was very hungry at the lunch time but because of the price, I chose a scone with a cappuccino.

This is EARL GREY INFUSED RAISINS SCONE, it was tasty and good size enough to make my stomach full. 🙂
This is my rare occasion to go out in the morning. But it’s great to see bright blue sky and get fresh air, right? It makes me want to fix my daily routine to early bird more. Currently, my bedtime is 3am-4am (Oh no) and get up normally around noon 😐. Probably it takes a bit time to get back to the decent routine completely but I am working on it now.
Anyway, this exhibition was so cute, enjoyable and photogenic. 💖 I want to see another section in the V&A too. Hope you enjoy reading and hope to see you in the next articles 🙂
